There seems to be quite a decent amount of good news surrounding the most popular franchise Anthem these days. The game was the best-selling game of the month of February, is the second best-selling game of the year of 2019, and the latest report says that the game has earned $100 million in digital revenue market since its launch on the date of February 22, exactly a month ago.

So, what does that simply imply? A few things, many of them are quite good. Namely that without knowing the exact split between physical and digital, The game Anthem has made significantly more than $100 million overall in its month of launch, which, may not be Call of Duty numbers or anything, but that is quite a solid opening for a game, which debuted to incredibly low review scores and massive technical problems at launch. But there was enough initial hype and positive word of spoken out of mouth about what does work to make it a great success. It is the second fastest-selling game of BioWare ever behind only Mass Effect 3. That is actually nothing.

These numbers also means that the Anthem game has out-earned the current trending game named Apex Legends, which brought in $93 million since its launch in the same month, even though that game is heralded as a quite larger success story, and it clearly has a much, much larger player base with over 50+ million on board.

But you may be able to spot the difference here pretty much very quickly.

Apex Legends is a completely free game, meaning that it has made a revenue of $93 million from microtransactions alone split between different store offerings, character purchases, and loot boxes. And this is before the season one battle pass came out.

The popular game Anthem, meanwhile, is making almost all of that money through $60 sales of the game itself. The similar report about the $100 million in digital revenue says that the game has made $3.5 million in microtransactions across all various different gaming platforms.

That is quite less great news. Why? Because the implication here is that microtransactions of Anthem are not particularly attractive, even though the entire model of monetization for the game post-launch is based on those kinds of different microtransactions. New armor sets and multiple cosmetics, possibly entirely new javelins to come around. Anthem is not making paid expansions or DLC like Destiny, so it has to rely entirely on this other stuff to generate quite a good amount of money, other stuff which does not seem to be selling all that quite well. If we are comparing in-game purchases alone, that is $93 million for Apex compared to $3.5 million for the Anthem game. It goes to show how far a larger player base can go in a F2P game, and how much digital revenue storefronts in BR games can actually generate.

Anthem had far from a great perfect launch, and with performance issues and ongoing balance, BioWare is under intensive pressure to smooth things out. And that is no better demonstrated than on social media forum called Reddit, where a long list of grievances was published yesterday by a user named harishcs, ostensibly on behalf of the whole community. The post touched on all the biggest issues related with the game, in addition to criticizing BioWare for a perceived lack of post-launch interaction and communication.

Global Community Manager Jesse Anderson of Anthem later weighed in with a response on behalf of BioWare company, and it addressed point-by-point most of the issues of the original post. On the topic of a perceived decline in game developer interaction on the subreddit since the launch of the game, Anderson had this to say:

“To start, things used to be a lot similar and friendlier here for developer team members who normally do not talk on forums or social channels,” he wrote. “They could answer questions, give required information and know that they are not going to have people getting quite upset at them. Why would a developer team member take time away from working on the next coming update to post when they know it is likely to be met with familiar hostile replies, or they get flamed because they cannot answer other questions that players are continuously asking?”

He continued: When the things are not so good, I do not usually mind it posting here, but that is because it is my job. For the developers, it is not their job, and I would like to ask that people remember that when replying the answer to them. When some people say ‘be nice or the developers will stop posting it is 100% true. Be constructive and respectful with your feedback and more of the team members will likely reply.

Anderson addressed a wide range of communication concerns, including why he tends to acknowledge trivial problems over major ones (because reports of status on smaller problems tend to be easier and much less complicated to obtain from the developer team), and why the patch notes are treated confidentially (they are not, they just tend to be completed only shortly before the updates go completely live).

On the matter of ongoing loot issues, Anderson listed some of the updates that are already been applied, while also shedding some light on how the feedback process actually works. Basically, things tend to take much longer than the community has its patience, but tweaks are forthcoming. “We are not happy where loot is either, so know that it is high on our priority list,” he wrote.

It is worth reading the full complete post, especially if you are invested in the future of the game which you are interested in. According to Anderson, Anthem definitely does have a bright future. “All I will say on this is that Anthem is here to stay not to go. Do we have a lot of work to do to fix several parts of the game? Yes, and the developer team is committed to making improvements and releasing brand new content.”

Revealed in BlizzCon 2018, the Diablo Anthem Boosting match, Diablo Immortal, has no release date. The question was asked many times to programmers during conferences and interviews, but they refused to answer. They refused to offer the 2019 wide date within an exit niche. The game appears well advanced, but it is likely they've carefully selected what to show so as to hide the extent of everything remains to be performed: the entire loot system, equipment, improvements, probably many abilities.

Just artworks are shown for many areas, Westmarche, for example, player capital. Has not been shown. The financial version of this sport (free to perform, pay to win...) has not yet been revealed, either because it hasn't yet been fixed, or for fear of additional swelling controversy.Another possibility is that Blizzard and its developers expect to need to rework the game greatly, either to ease reconciliation with lovers, or even to prepare unique versions of Diablo Immortal based on the region.

We can, as an example, imagine a censored version, P2W and siphon all the personal data of gamers before sending it to the authorities for its Chinese version (exactly what a gorgeous country) on a single side, and a match which respects human decency and that brings fun to its players for the remainder of the world, on the other. Additionally, there's a very real probability that

Blizzard will back off from what was said at the very first Buy Anthem Boosting conference of the BlizzCon, and that a PC version is ready in addition to cellular versions, which are logical. After all, Hearthstone does it well. But be careful, do not go too far, do not forget that the above elements are assumptions on our part, pending official releases from Blizzard. We must hope for the best, but expect the worst.

Eric Pope, the Community Developer for its For Honor Group, addressed the issue . The entire article can be read on the Anthem Boosting subreddit. He started by remarking about the toxic behavior from the community, stating that matters have gotten out of control. He went on to confirm while Ubisoft has heard that the community's displeasure with the newest voice acting. They stand behind it.

The new system, he explains, requires recording new dialog for each of the new characters. Citing"hard constraints" as a motive for the new voice acting, he stated that getting the original 2016 roster back in the studio wasn't possible.

Further controversy?

This response, while appreciated, has come under criticism also. Some speculate that Ubisoft wants new voice actors that aren't unionized. The Screen Actors Guild went on strike after the VA throw had been hired, some suggesting Ubisoft did not want to buy Anthem Leveling manage them.

This is somewhat hard to believe, however. Actress Jennifer Hale, a part of the original voice acting group, is on the card. Being part of SAG himself, that makes this speculation unlikely. A number of the original cast contradict the For Honor group's statement as well though. Derek Seguin (who voiced the iconic Centurion) stated on Twitter that he is curious and interested in reprising the role.

For Honor community feels deceived?

BioWare is all prepared to launch its second and last demo before the release of its upcoming Anthem title. With this new open demo, players around the globe can access the game and get to know about various details which are not yet disclosed or known by anyone.

This new title is a third-person multiplayer online shooter game and can be played alongside four players in a team-up. In this game, players will take an avatar of Freelancer who is burdened with the responsibility of protecting all the residents of Fort Tarsis. The gamers are required to accomplish various assigned contracts, travel around the unclaimed lands and protect others from any possible threats in the game.

The game provides players with super mighty exo-suits, that grants gamers with extraordinary strength, agility, and reflexes in combination with the flying capability and mind-blowing weapons.

These exo-suits are referred to as Javelins in the Anthem game and come with different specifications suiting the requirements as desired by the players. As of now, there are four different Javelins in Anthem all providing different abilities to the players.

Colossus is the toughest among all the other Javelins due to its heavy armor which is capable of withstanding massive incoming damage and is the only Javelin capable of carrying heavy weaponry.

Still, the limitation to such a tank type character is its speed, due to such massive size this Javelin is quite slow in comparison to other available options, but Colossus can prove to be a tank in multiplayer battle providing cover to other teammates.

Ranger is a side support Javelin, providing massive firepower with its grenade, rocket and laser beams attack type. Still surviving with this avatar is not easy as this Javelin has very less health to sustain heavy direct blows, so choosing this player to play with requires some intense skill set.

Interceptor is a less armored Javelin with lighting speed and decent firepower. Basically, it is the fastest Javelin amongst the others and provides a capability of dealing quick damage and then evading the close combat.

This Javelin comes with sufficient weaponry to support the squad and provides berating space for other characters in close combat, and you can say that it acts as a wind-conditioner avatar to provide other squad-mates to reassemble and deal a massive blow to the enemies.

Lastly, the Storm avatar comes with a personal force filed and hidden elemental attacks providing long-range attack capabilities, which grants this Javelin of sufficient range to counter any incoming horde of enemies.

Anthem is set to release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC but first, we have to observe how this open demo turns out and what feedback would the community and fans come up with for the Anthem final launch.
