How can I change the network key for the Netgear extender?

Netgear wireless range extenders are very useful in expanding the low strength wifi signals of our home wifi router throughout our home. But sometimes, after using the Netgear wireless range extender for a while we simply forget the our wifi password. This usually happens because once our devices get connected with wifi, we hardly use the wifi password again. We only come to know that we do not remember our wifi password is when we try to connect any new wifi device with hour home wifi network. And sometimes, we purchase a new router and we have to set the same password of our new home wifi router on the Netgear wireless range extender.

# By logging into the Netgear account
The first and the easiest way to change the password on the Netgear wireless range extender is to logging into our Netgear account. We have to open any web browser on our computer or our laptop and we have to visit and search it. After searching, we will be on a screen which will ask us to login into our Netgear account. After logging in, we just have to go in the wireless settings and we could change the wifi password for Netgear wireless range extender from there.

# There is one more way to Change the Network key
The other wat which we can log into the Netgear account is by putting the default IP address of Netgear wireless range extender onto the address bar of the web browser of a desktop computer or a laptop and search it. After search, we will be asked to put the username and password which we must have created during the initial setup of the Netgear wireless range extender. Once, we will be logged in, we can easily change the settings by going to wireless settings.

# Making Netgear extender to factory defaults
If none of the above way works, we could simply reset the Netgear wireless range extender. There would be pin hole at the back of Netgear wireless range extender, we have to enter any pin onto that hole and press it for 7 to 10 second. After couple of minutes, the Netgear wireless range extender will come to factory default. Then, we could setup the Netgear wireless range extender all over again like we first bough it. And this time, we could choose a new wifi password for the Netgear wireless range extender during the setup process.
